Based on an analysis of the content (i.e., reading between the lines) of 110 political statements from U.S. President Biden, Secretary of State Blinken, National Security Advisor Sullivan, and CIA Director Burns, all related to the situation in the Middle East, especially the Gaza War, and using various interpretations of each statement relying particularly on Western newspapers, as well as monitoring Israeli reactions to these statements, and any Arab statements—if any were found—I discovered that behind these statements and their implications lies a comprehensive American plan based on the following:
- Granting Israel a time frame of two to three months to accomplish its mission in Gaza.
- During this period (2-3 months), the United States will propose several political plans that create an optimistic impression of an impending political settlement. Israel is to utilize this “artificial” optimistic atmosphere to accomplish its mission under this cover. Additionally, the U.S. will direct some Arab TV channels to promote this optimistic atmosphere by repeatedly highlighting U.S. statements supporting this “artificial” direction to create a regional relaxation that prevents the resistance axis from escalating and reduces the chances of the war expanding to a regional level. This might also cause confusion in the resistance axis’s strategies.
- Creating an impression globally that the U.S. is concerned about civilians in Gaza, both during military operations and through ensuring the delivery of aid. Israel must conduct its operations in a way that does not undermine U.S. propaganda in this regard.
- Initiating regional initiatives and meetings—focusing on the Arab normalization axis—to support the “artificial” optimism, thereby reducing the diplomatic and legal pressure on Israel (at the United Nations and international judicial bodies) and encouraging the expansion of normalization later.
- Israel must, as much as possible, restrain the actions and statements of its extremist ministers, particularly Ben Gvir and Smotrich.
- Expanding the role of Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer, as he is one of the key architects of U.S.-Israeli relations and is highly trusted by Netanyahu. This person may play a significant hidden role in all this planning, especially given Netanyahu’s substantial reliance on him in U.S. relations.
- Constantly praising the roles of the Arab mediators (Qatar and Egypt) to cover any accusations against them of pressuring the resistance team to negotiate.
- An American promise to Israel that what cannot be achieved through military force will be achieved through civilian means, especially in the reconstruction phase, with the aim of directing aid and reconstruction plans to be in “non-resistance” hands, depriving the resistance of using this to deepen their relationship with the community.
- Gulf countries are preparing to provide generous aid to an extent that makes normalization less important compared to the weight of this generous aid.
And perhaps there are other points… but this is what I have concluded, and we will detail it later.
